Alyssa Hill was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. After graduating from high school she attended the North Carolina School of the Arts for Filmmaking. She decided to attend NCSA because unlike other colleges at the time, the school had a hands-on approach to filmmaking. She learned to hand draft, build flats, and create models.

After receiving her BFA, Alyssa moved directly to Los Angeles and landed her first job as an Art Department Coordinator on a pilot for TNT called Truth In Advertising. She spent several years as a coordinator learning from wonderful Art Directors and Production Designers on a variety of shows.

In between shows, Alyssa was offered to art direct a History Channel show called Live To Tell and was able to join the Art Directors Guild in 2015.

Since then, Alyssa has enjoyed working and learning more about the art of creating new and wonderful worlds for television and film from a variety of Production Designers. She currently lives in Studio City, CA.
